There is no doubt that Canon is a leading Digital Imaging Company not just in India but on a global scale. The company launched various large Format printers today in an event held at Greater Noida. The devices are featuring inkjet and LED technology and are specifically designed for graphic arts, fine arts and photographic industry.
The imagePROGRAF pro series features a 12-color imagePROGRAF Pro 520 and imagePROGRAF Pro 540, 8-color imagePROGRAF PRO-540S and imagePROGRAF PRO-560S and a 5 colour imagePROGRAF 671E. The devices are great and are offering the right mix of affordability & technology to the SME segment.
Canon also launched a large format all-rounder printer Oce ColorWave 700, which are basically designed for wide range of graphics arts such as wallpapers, in-shop branding, signage. The device has a touch screen control system, with tablet-like gestures.
The imagePRESS series has also added few more printer in its portfolio. The devices are, ImagePRESS C850, imagePRESS C750, imagePRESS C650, imagePRESS C8000VP. The series features various updated features and new technology, which will help meet the requirement of its market such as in-plant operations, print service providers etc.
The imagePRESS series delivers vibrant and consistent image quality. With the 32-beam red VCSEL laser, the devices can achieve 2400 x 2400 dpi output. The devices are also equipped with large media capacity, means it can print up to 7,650 sheets in one go.
