Design & Built

Now starting with the Design and the built of CENTRiC A1, the phone houses in Full Metal Chassis and no plastic is being used in its built. The design seems to be inspired by other products available in the market. CENTRiC A1 also has a curve on the edges to add a perfect the grip while holding it in hand. They have given a 2.5D curved glass on its 5.5″ Display panel which adds extra protection as well as looks to the phone.

Surfing the phone down we get back navigation keys which are printed on the lower side of the phone and do not light up.

Coming to the lower downside of the phone we get dual speaker grill our of which left is having the primary MIC in it whereas the right one is having an actual speaker in it which is quite loud in the outdoor situation. Between them houses a USB Type C port which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 which is just amazing with this price and also support OTG. OTG is one of the most important feature these days.

Centric-A1-Audio-Jack-Techniblogic

Turing the phone to another side at the top we get 3.5mm Audio jack and a secondary noise cancellation MIC. Nothing else which we can find at the top.

Centric-A1-Sim-Tray-Techniblogic

Coming to the left side of the phone we get a Hybrid Sim tray slot which supports Dual Nano Sims at one time or we can use 1 Nano Sim and a Micro SD card up to 256 in another slot.

Centric-A1-Volume-Rockers-Techniblogic

Turning to the right we get Volume rockers and power lock key which works quite well with proper haptic feedback while using them.

Centric-A1-Fingerprint-Techniblogic

Finally coming to the back panel of the phone you will get a 13 MP camera besides that LED Flash and below that a FingerPrint sensor which works perfectly even with 360 Degree Recognition. At back, we also get a CENTRiC and DTS Audio Branding.

Display

Centric-A1-Front-Techniblogic

CENTRiC A1 comes with a 5.5-inch FHD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and pixel density of 401ppi. The Display colors are more natural, and blacks are proper dark which means while watching movies and playing games the experience which you will get is going to be awesome. The Sunlight legibility of CENTRiC A1 is quite good. Overall the screen for movies and games and daily use is nice. You won’t be getting more strain on your eyes while using or reading books on the Phone just because of deeper blacks and natural colors.

Viewing Angle is good and you won’t be getting any chance to complain about it. While watching movies from odd angle won’t affect you in any way. There are different color modes, which you can change as per your usage by going into the setting panel.

Performance

The phone comes with Snapdragon 430 processor which features a 3GB Ram. This combo makes it a perfect device for this price as this is going to give good competition to Xiaomi Redmi 4. Out of 32 GB of internal storage you get about 24.5 GB free, even after that, you can expand it to up-to 256GB because of the phone support Hybrid SIM tray.

We get Antutu Score of 45010 and certain other scores are also good. With this screen size and average selfie, they have also given all the sensors which are required by any normal person.

They have not removed any sensors. We can use this smartphone with a VR headset also. Even while using GPS it will give you proper accuracy as it also has magnetic and orientation sensor.

Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games. In my use, I have not seen any lag or frame drops even in Asphalt 8 high setting. Every game even in the high-end setting is working well. I have tried playing most of the games like Asphalt 8, Shadow Fight 3, Batman, Bully at Adreno 505 GPU with the support of Snapdragon 430 processor work well. I have also not seen any heating issue while long gaming in DELHI, INDIA Temperature.

Camera

CENTRiC comes up with 13 MP rear Camera which comes out quite good with this price range. The rear camera seems to be even better than what we get in Xiaomi Redmi 4. We get better clarity and better bokeh with this price. Focusing on the device is good with the rear camera. The images came out really good with some great colors and saturation. Rest, I have already posted some camera shots downside. Coming to the Low light images, it comes up with a little bit noisy.

Coming to the front part here we get an 8-megapixel large sensor for selfies with a front LED flash in it. I would say taking selfies in good light will come out good but in low light, i would say Nah. Rest still it is very competitive with Xiaomi Devices.

Rest, we have a different option in the camera app which we can use and fiddle up with to get better shots.

Software

Centric-A1-Software-Techniblogic

CENTRiC A1 out of the box is loaded with Android 7.1.1 which is Android Nougat as of now and we have no info about when they are going to roll out Android Oreo on this device. The software seems to be stock and almost no bloatware in it. Some basics applications like Word and Excel is present in the device which can be further used in daily use for basic office work. The best thing is the Stock android which we are getting. Many of the users will surely be going to love the clean UI which they are offering at this price.

Battery

Centric-A1-Back-Panel-Techniblogic

Coming to battery part of the phone which is its 3000 mAh Battery which works really well. It took me approx 1 hour 20 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% using its default charger. The best part of the phones is its feature of Quick Charge 3.0. This is because after LeEco lost there market no other brand came up with this massive specs in such affordability. Battery usage of the device is good. It will easily go to last you more than a day because of good software optimization.

Coming to the battery performance, on high usage, it will easily last you for a day and on normal usage, it will easily slightly more than a day. Rest, battery usage varies from person to person and their usage.
