LeEco (LeTv) Le 1s Review, Camera, Features. LeEco Le 1S is available in India via Flipkart for 10,999 INR. The phone comes with a metal unibody and features a 5.5 inch full HD display.
Build Quality and Design
When we come to the build quality of the device it is made of full metal body, which looks so premium that I just can’t explain it in one word. It feel a bit heavy when you take it in hand for the first time, but it only weight 169 grams where as when we take the weight of Xiaomi Redmi note 3 is feels a bit light but it also weights 165 grams.
When we come to the Design and Holding factor, Design and looks at such price is just awesome due to which there was maximum registration on flip-kart for its first sale.
It is a very Slim device with only 7.5mm thickness and all the corners are crafted properly with metal round corners which just feel too good while holding in the hand. The only drawback I find in this is we cannot remove the back panel which means the battery is non-removable.
When we come to the front there is 5MP front shooting camera with different sensors and LED notification light. At the bottom of the front, there are 3 capacitive touch buttons which light up only when you press them, else they will be hidden. When we come to the left side of the device there is a sim ejector tray which supports dual sim with one micro sim and one nano sim and both of them supports 4G LTE. On the right side the device there is Volume rocker and power button which is also up made of metal and gives quite good haptic feedback while pressing.
At the bottom of the device, there is Type-C port which means it is a fast charging as well as a USB 3.0 Support, whereas there are two speaker grills but actually right side grill is having a speaker and left side grill is having a primary mic in it.
At the top of the device, there is an IR blaster for controlling different devices like TV, AC etc and a 3.5mm Audio jack which is necessary.
At the back it is having a LETV branding, a Glass finish figure print sensor which is more than 80% correct, a 13MP rear camera with single tone flash and a secondary mic for video recording.
The LeEco or we can say LeTv Le 1s comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS screen which offers 403-pixel Density (PPI). It also comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protecting your screen from any kind of damage and harm screen and it also offers good sunlight visibility because of its deep blacks it offers in the screen quality. The screen quality looks sharp, crisp, with deep black which we found in devices which offer super AMOLED displays. The device is also having great viewing angles with great color reproduction and colors can also be adjusted by going into the setting menu. The Device comes with almost a bezel-less design and due to which it looks just too awesome while in the hand. While playing videos, playing games on the device the quality of the screen is just awesome no complaints. we just cannot say that this is actually budget oriented device. We can easily feel its premium quality while taking it in our hand and by using it.
When we come to OS or we can say operating system it comes with Android OS 5.0.2 out of the box and the Skin which they are using on Android is there custom skin which is EUI version 5.5 which is a stable version, and hope to get the update soon. The EUI looks like a mixture of MIUI and IOS and it works like a butter so smooth so fluent no lag nothing till now.
In notification center, you won’t found any toggles like Wifi, Torch etc. in Notification center you will only found the clock and the notification which you will receive like a message , miss call etc.
To get the toggle in EUI you need to click the recent app capacitive touch button and it will open a menu where you can customize different toggles according to the use.
You can also check the Ram available from there and by swiping up on some recent app you can easily free you Ram just like MIUI and IOS.
While the screen is in lock mode the recent app key works like a control center which we find in IOS devices.
Overall the experience of EUI is pretty good no complaints till now, and one more thing there is no menu everything is on the screen just like IOS devices.
When we come to the camera of the device, at the front it comes with 5MP shooter with face detection and many other features.
Whereas when we come to back camera it is a 13MP shooter which captures quite a good picture as well as videos.
