Meizu, a Chinese smartphone giant has added a new smartphone in their M series portfolio. The company today announced the Meizu M5 in China. The device comes with a full metal uni-body design, which is designed for consumers who seek affordable smartphone in an excellent packing and smooth user experience.
The Meizu M 5 is an all-time classy design, which never goes out of fashion. The device is available in four colours variant Blue, Grey, Silver and Champagne Gold. It is packing a 1.8 GHz Octa-core processor, which is backed by Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The device will come in 3 and 4 Gb RAM variants and users will get an option to choose between 16Gb, 32GB and 64GB of internal storage as per their need.
The M5 has a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a pixel resolution of 1920×1080, which is backed by a 2.5D glass for extra protection. The device is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor, which has a recognition angle of 360 degrees. The M5 is also equipped with a 13 Megapixel shooter, with 0.2s high-speed autofocus system. The front camera is a 5 Megapixel shooter.
Mr Aber Bai, President Meizu said “M-series is defined as “Quality for Young,” and since the launch of this series Meizu has sold more than 20 million Note products from this series in the last couple of years. Moreover, the previous generation Note device achieved seven million in sales.”
The device is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop with a customised Flyme 5 on top of it, it also carries a 4,000 mAh humongous battery. The device is also equipped with other features like Gravity sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Capacitive touch screen, 24GHz dual band WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, VoLTE, Digital compass and much more.
