After the global release of these phones a month ago, Asus has launched the ZenFone 4 Selfie and the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro in India on Thursday. The devices are Zenfone 4 Selfie (Single and Dual camera) and Zenfone 4 Selfie pro (Dual camera). The Zenfone 4 Selfie is a budget oriented smartphone, on the other hand, the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro is a high-end smartphone with top notch specs.
The ZenFone 4 Selfie comes in two categories; one includes a single camera on the front while the second one comes along with a dual camera in the front. The first device has a 13MP front camera with a front selfie flash and a 13-megapixel rear camera with a PDAF sensor for detailed and enriched photography.
Where as when we come to the dual camera version of the device has a 20MP + 8MP front facing the camera, with a f/2.0 aperture. The 8MP camera is a 120-degree wide-angle lens, for the amazing scenery. The front facing camera also has an LED flash. The device also features a 16 MP rear camera with LED flash.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie pro comes with a 24 + 8 Megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX362 image dual pixel sensor and an awesome f/1.8 aperture. The front camera can also record 4k videos, making your vlogging spectacular.
The Selfie Pro uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC (up to 2.0 GHz) and the ZenFone 4 Selfie uses a Snapdragon 430 SoC. Selfie Pro weighs 145 g and has a dimension of 154.02 x 74.83 x 7 mm, while the ZenFone 4 Selfie weighs slightly less than 144 g and has a dimension of 155.66 x 75.9 x 7.85 mm.
Both these smartphones are based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and feature a 5.5 inches full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. They both support dual SIM (Nano + Nano) and currently run on the ZenUI 4.0 UI. They come along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 2 TB with a microSD card. Both of these smart devices include a 3000 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner at the home button in front.
Currently priced at Rs. 23,999, the ZenFone 4 Selfie comes in Sunlight Gold, Rouge Red and Deep Sea Black colour. The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZB553KL) is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available in Sunlight Gold, Rose Pink and Deep Sea Black colours.
