Dell Alienware M15 Launched

Dell has launched the Dell Alienware M15, the most lightweight gaming laptop in the Alienware range so far. The key highlights of the laptop are its weight and slimness. This 15.6 – inch gaming laptop weighs 2.177kg, and is claimed to be 20% lighter and 14% thinner than its predecessor Alienware 13.

The new Dell Alienware M15 gaming PC comes with slimmer bezels, a reduced footprint and magnesium alloy casing for power and portability. The user will get three options for display that includes – a 60Hz FHD display, a 144Hz FHD panel, and a 60Hz UHD display. The display has narrow bezels to maximize screen space and still manages to give users a full-size number pad on the keyboard. Speaking of the keyboard, it sports a numeric backlit keypad with 1.4mm of key travel, anti-ghosting keys and four Alien-FX enabled zones to light up the room during any gameplay.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the latest eighth-gen Intel processor with the option of either a quad-core Core i5-8300H or a six-core i7-8750H. On the graphics front, the laptop comes with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 OC or 1070 Max-Q graphics cards and Alienware Graphics Amplifier. It has a 16GB RAM storage options up to 1TB SSD and 1TB hybrid drive.

The Dell Alienware M15 offers 60Whr and 90Whr battery options with video playback of 7.1 hours and 10.6 hours respectively. For connectivity options, the laptop will have three USB Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.0, miniDisplay Port 1.3, Noble Lock Port, Thunderbolt 3, charging port, Gigabit Ethernet, and Alienware’s Amplifier ports. Being a gaming laptop, Alienware m15 offers efficient thermal management during intense game sessions. The device measures 143x108x8.3mm.

The Dell Alienware M15 laptops come at a starting price of $1,299 (roughly Rs. 95,700) and will go on sale from October 25 on Alienware.com. It can also be available through the partnered retail shops and comes in both Epic Silver and Nebula Red colour options.
