Our verdict

Overall, after using our steps you can easily download or take a screenshot for any of the stories which are available on Instagram. After using these simple method no one would be able to know whether you have taken a screenshot of the story of not.

But I would like to mention one thing this feature was tested by Instagram in Feb 2019 and not being used and installed fully in any Instagram application. So the answer to the question Does Instagram Notify When You Screenshot a Story? is a big NO. Only Snapchat is the application that use to send a notification to the user about who has actually taken the screenshot of the image. Snapchat even notifies weather the user has recorded the screen or not. These things are good for some and some people just don’t like it.

So to be safer I would still prefer to use the above application method just for the safe side.
