Free Fire Champions Cup and Free Fire World Series announced in exciting 2020 esports line-up

Free Fire is the world’s most popular mobile battle royale game and it is going to organize series of major e-sports tournaments for the year ahead. All these tournaments will be creating opportunities for its global community of gamers. As per the latest information gathered, Free Fire will be hosting up to 4 international esports tournament in 2020. A total of INR 14 crore amount will be distributed among all the winners of the tournament. Moreover, the winner of the Free Fire India esports this year stand a chance to win from a big prize pool of INR 1 crore.

The registration for the Free India Championship (FFIC) 2020 were recently announced and an important market for Free Fire, India will have their own qualifiers leading up to each of the international esports tournaments.  The winners of the FFIC will also get an opportunity to showcase their skills at the FFCC 2020. No doubt,2020 is going to be an exciting year for Free Fire fans, with a host of esports tournaments coming up for players across the country.

Details about the tournament:

  1. The first international tournament of the year 2020 is named as the Free Fire Champions Cup 2020.  It will be hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia on 19 April 2020. The qualifiers for the FFCC2020 have already begun, where the top 12 teams from 9 cities will emerge from local and regional qualifiers.  This tournament marks is basically the return of a global tournament to Southeast Asia, where the first-ever global tournament for Free Fire was held – Free Fire World Cup 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.
  2. The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) returns to Brazil after its record-breaking season in the year 2019.  The FFWS will be organizing the event in November 2020 and the finals of the tournament will be played in Brazil again. One of the Fire’s highlights of 2019 was the reception for 2019’s World series. And the finals of FFWS 2019 had over 2 million peak concurrent viewers. In total, 2019’s World Series racked up over 130 million online views around the world.

The Free Fire Fans will not have to wait long for long after the Free Fire Champions Cup 2020 in April. Because for the first time in 2020, there will be two additional first-of-its-kind Free Fire global tournaments taking place in June and July respectively.
