Japanese camera maker, Fujifilm has expanded its X series range of mirrorless digital cameras with the launch of Fujifilm X-A5 camera, which comes with a retro and stylish design to recall the old 80s cameras. As per the company, this would be the lightest and the smallest mirrorless camera ever produced by them. It is launched in India at a price of Rs. 49,999 and is available exclusively on an e-commerce platform, Amazon.

This camera is a perfect blend of old retro style with all new technology needed nowadays. The Fujifilm newbie camera includes features like a 3-inch LCD screen that tilts fully 180 degrees, an extended battery life, and the latest built-in Bluetooth technology. You can also take selfies with the X-A5 using the Eye AF function, and there is also the Portrait Enhancer Mode, which provides three levels of skin tones. The X-45 can deliver nearly 450 pictures in a single charge.
It features a 24.2MP APS-C Bayer image sensor (instead of company’s X-Trans), that comes with 4K video recording at 15 frames per second. Apart from this, the X-A5 also offers features like automatic Bluetooth image transfer, a newly developed image processing engine that 1.5 faster image processing and improved phase detection autofocus. Fujifilm has armed the new camera with a new XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 less that boasts of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for a smooth zooming mechanism, SR+ AUTO mode, colour reproduction performance, and skin tone reproduction capability. The native ISO has been upgraded from 6,400 to 12,800.

The camera comes with an iOS offering of 12800 and is the first camera in the X-A Series to feature phase detection pixels. The lens of the camera works on the minimum distance of just 5cm which is ideal for clicking clear close-up shots and its 4K Burst function produces 4K image quality in 15 frames per second.
The Fujifilm X-A5 will be sold in a total of three colour variants, which are Black, Brown and Pink, and it will be sold exclusively on Amazon India at a price of Rs. 49,999.
