Gionee F205 and S11 Lite with Full View Display

The famous smartphone brand Gionee on Thursday launched its two new smartphones; Gionee F205 and S11 Lite. Both the phones have full view display and are tagged at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 13,999 respectively. F205 was announced in November 2017 in China. Now let us have a look at the specifications of the two given devices.

Gionee F205 will be available in 2GB RAM along with a 16GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. It is powered by MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor. On the other hand, Gionee S11 Lite will be powered by Snapdragon 430 processor with a RAM of 4GB. Camera specifications of both the phones are quite decent as F205 offers 8MP rear and 5MP front camera. S11 Lite has got a dual camera setup of 13MP + 2MP on the rear end and a 16MP front camera.

One amazing feature about both the devices is that both of them come with a ‘private space’ and ‘fake space’ feature that will enable users to block certain contacts, messages and hide personal information of close ones respectively. Gionee F205 comes with a 5.45-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Both the phones support facial recognition feature for unlocking the device and a ‘Bokeh’ feature on both the front and rear cameras. Gionee S11 Lite is expected to compete with the 4GB RAM variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which also has similar features to this device. In the context of this news, Gionee had previously sent out media invites for the launch event which was held in New Delhi. The company had previously confirmed that its new devices will be priced between Rs. 9,000 to Rs 15,000 and both of them will have a Full View display along with the Face Unlock feature.
