Intex Technologies is a smartphone, consumer durables and IT accessories manufacturer based in India. It is the second largest mobile phone company by sales. Intex Technologies on Thursday launched two new smartphones in the sub Rs. 5000 segment, namely the Infie 3 and Infie 33. The devices are priced at Rs. 4,649 and Rs. 5,049 respectively. The smartphones will be available for the customers through offline stores.

The Intex Infie 3 features a 4.95-inch display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor. The device consists of 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android Oreo Go. The Infie 3 has a 5 MP primary camera sensor and a 2 MP front-facing selfie camera sensor. The smartphone houses 2000mAh battery and comes with a unique ‘SPY Capture’ feature which takes an image of the person trying to unlock the device after three failed attempts.
Ishita Bansal, Product Head (Mobiles), Intex Technologies, told IANS,” The youth-centric ‘Full View’ series with features such as face unlock, bokeh effect in the camera and privacy-protection technologies offer the people an affordable option to buy smartphones”. Further said,”Our target audience is different from that of Chinese players. We are currently focusing on those who are thinking of getting an upgrade from feature phones to smartphones.”

The Intex Infie 33 also sports similar specs as the Infie 3 with a few minor changes. The Infie 33 comes with a 5.34-inch display and runs on Android Nougat. The device has a 5 MP primary camera sensor and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera sensor. It comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The Infie 33 houses a 3000 mAh battery and comes with similar security features as the Infie 3.
