The new A17 Bionic chipset will likely be included in the Pro Duo that will debut with the iPhone 15 series next month. The new platform will reportedly contain 6 CPU cores with a maximum frequency of 3.7 GHz and 6 GPU cores, and it will be constructed by TSMC using the 3 nm FinFET technology.
Micron, Samsung, or both will provide the 6 GB of LPDDR5 RAM included in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The t8130-model processor will be used in the 2019 Pro models and the iPhone 16 series in 2024, according to Apple’s roadmap. It is too early to know for sure, but rumors suggest that the t8140, the A18 platform, will power next year’s Pro smartphones.
Recently, the user established their reliability by verifying the USB-C cable connection leak. The new iPhones will include a standard USB charging connection, albeit the standard 15 series will only support USB 2.0 while the Pro models will support the speedier USB 3.2.
