Nubia Red Magic Gaming Smartphone announced in India

Nubia launched the gaming-centric smartphone, the Red Magic in India. The Red Magic is the first gaming smartphone from Nubia in India which was first introduced in China in April. It is the most unique looking devices right now with its RGB LED at the back and it also offers many gaming-centric features.

The Nubia Red Magic is priced at Rs 29,999 in India and will be available exclusively on Amazon India. The sale of this smartphone starts from December 20. There is an opportunity for the first few lucky buyers to win exclusive gaming RedMagic Nerdz earphones.

Specifically designed for gaming enthusiast, the Nubia Red Magic features a dual air convection cooling system. It is designed with three cooling ports, additional layers of graphite, and topped with a convex-styled back to help the smartphone manage internal temperature while playing resource-intensive games. Additionally, the phone features a convex back that gives it more surface area to dissipate heat. The phone also sports a dedicated GameBoost button that actives the GameBoost mode to boost the system performance. The phone also enables users to blocks calls and notifications while they are into gaming. Completing the look is a glowing 16.8-million colour RGB LED strip that sits in line with an aviation-grade aluminium alloy build.

The Nubia Red Magic sports a 6-inch Full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 85 per cent NTSC colour gamut. Under the hood, the handset is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with Adreno 540 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. This gaming phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and has 128 GB internal storage, which is non-expandable.

On the optic front, the smartphone sports a 24-megapixel sensor at the back panel with f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens, and dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel shooter with f/ 2.0 aperture and 76.9-degree wide-angle lens. The smartphone is driven by  3,800mAh battery that supports NeoPower 3.0 and Nubia fast charging technologies. On the connectivity front, the phone has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear end.
