Realme has been soaring high with the success of its phones in the market. The company is now planning to be the first company to launch a smartphone with a 64 MP camera. Realme X name have been accepted by the users.
Samsung recently launched its 64-megapixel ISOCELL GW1 sensor, which Realme intends to integrate into its next premium device. The Chief Executive Officer, Madhav Seth teased a photo on Twitter, “Working on the new premium killer! Introducing the world’s first smartphone camera with 64MP GW1 largest 1/1.72″ sensor and mega 1.6µm pixel with amazing clear shots in low light too. Some of the reports say that the camera sensor uses 4-in-1 pixel technology to merge four 0.8 micron pixels into a single 1.6-micron pixel that will be able to deliver 16 MP photos in low light conditions and 64 MP images in better and brighter light conditions. The watermark reveals that the smartphone might come with AI-powered camera setup.
The company took to Weibo to show the back of the smartphone that will sport a quad camera setup. The large 1/1.172” 64 MP GW1 sensor is at the top surrounded by yellow rings and the flash lies next to the camera sensors. The smartphone is expected to launch in India first.
