Vivo aims to go head to head with the ultra-fast charging technologies available in the market with its Super FlashCharge 120 W technology. Fast charging has come way too far from 15W to 100W fast chargers, but now Vivo steps up its game with the Super FlashCharge 120W technology. The company will showcase this innovative technology at the MWC Shanghai starting from 26th June this year.
Vivo claims that its Super FlashCharge 120W technology can charge a phone with 4000 mAh battery in just 13 minutes. Vivo announced on the Chinese social Media platform, Weibo that their tech will be able to charge a phone with 4000mAh battery from 0 to 50% in just 5 minutes and the rest of the battery will be charged in 8 minutes, making it a total of 13 minutes to fully charge the phone.
Considering the company’s claims to be true, this 120W technology will be faster than Xiaomi’s 100W charging system, not yet available on any commercial device. The Super FlashCharge 120W technology makes it three times faster than Huawei’s 40W charging present in Mate 20 Pro and P30 Pro. This battle of fast charging technology could become the trend for 2020, but for now, we will get to know more about the details and working of this new tech by Vivo at the MWC Shanghai, 2019.
