Asus Successfully launches Taiwan’s Smart Classroom Solutions in India

Asus provides support by distributing its cutting-edge laptops to students

To build a smart education solution, Taiwan has been developing state-of-the-art education solutions for years. Moreover, the Industrial Development Bureau(IDB) Taiwan along with Asus Foundation is ready to launch a smart classroom proof-of-concept project at the Government Senior Secondary School (Boys) in Karnal Haryana.

As per the information available, the proof-of-concept project launched by IDB Taiwan in tandem with Asus enables:

  1. ASUS foundation and other participating companies to assist the international community bridge the digital divide and nurture international talent to fulfill the responsibilities and obligations of global citizenship.
  2. The project aims to increase digital learning capabilities of students, and more importantly, explore the smart education business opportunity in India.

However, to support the noble cause, Asus distributed its cutting-edge range of laptops to students. The aim was to empower students to equally participate in the digital revolution surrounding them.

Arnold Su, Head of Consumer Notebooks and ROG Business, Asus India, said that at ASUS the primary focus is on looking at opportunities to bring about paradigm shifts in the lives of the ASUS customers and users. He added that the brand is glad to collaborate with IDB Taiwan and support their crusade promoting smart education solutions in India.

Currently, karnal has been supporting Smart Education and incurring Rs 3.6 crore to develop 53 classrooms in the city’s nine government schools this year, which planned to establish a learning system to monitor the daily performance and activities of the students.  It will be easy for parents to track students’ learning status with the help of the dashboard system, and students would be taught with the help of audio-visual content, making learning easy.

The smart cities Mission project launched Prime Minister Modi in 2015 will also be supported this development. Smart Cities Mission project was launched with a total budget of US$ 15 billion, entailing the construction of 100 smart cities by 2020.  as per the research from KPMG India, the market demands for Smart Education solution has enormous potential, and more than 64 cities in India are now planning to implement smart education solutions, with the Government of India to enhance the implementation scale of smart classroom across the country.
