At TechGig Geek Goddess 2019, Women developers prefer emerging Tech Hackathons


TechGig Geek Goddess 2019, a platform exclusively for IT professionals to synergize, share, exchange ideas, facts, and information, has now started encouraging participants to build IT solutions using these new-age solutions on popular platforms as Automation Anywhere, JetBrains, that too for free.  All these platforms are available for a premium for development projects, but the TechGig is using these platforms for its participants on a complimentary basis.

Based on the technologies that are in demand right now, TechGig Geek Goddess 2019 hosts six themes. For example: the Cloudify Everything required the participants to provide a data science-based solution leveraging Azure ML services or AWS Sagemaker. Most of the IT companies use this tool for development, and working on these makes one future-ready! One of the themes is a hackathon theme, which has got over 4,403 registrations.

Sanjay Goyal, Business Head, TimesJobs, and TechGig said that TechGig Geek Goddess was envisaged to bring out the best skills in Indian women technologists. He also added that. Indian women developers are trying out these technologies aggressively and not just AI or ML or Cloud independently but together in different combinations.

TechGig Geek Goddess has become a podium for women technologies to claim their glory irrespective of their educational pedigree, location, work experience, and other factors. Ram Awasthi, VP-Technology, Times Internet said that this year, the company has added a unique opportunity of trying out a bouquet of technologies like AI, ML, Cloud to formulate solutions, and the contestants try these with much enthusiasm. He said that till now, a good response is received for progressive technologies as RPA, which are being widely used in the industry today.

TechGig Geek Goddess 2019 was opened for registration on August 19 and was buzzing with activity ever since. The first round concluded on October 21. The code submissions will undergo subsequent shortlisting, and finalists will be invited for the last round of coding in Bengaluru on November 8.  The contest winners will win a prize money worth Rs. 7,50,000.
