Department of telecom has launched Tarang Sanchar today. It is a web portal to share the information of mobile towers and EMD emission compliances. The primary goal of the portal is to empower every person to know about working towers in their locality and whether they are a complaint to the EMF emission norms defined by the Government.
“The launch of Tarang Sanchar Portal will definitely help in clearing myths and misconception of public on mobile towers and emissions from them.” Said Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications and Minister of state for Railways.
