The device features a full-disk AES 256-bit data encryption. Which basically means that your data is highly protected. The device auto-lock feature is activated whenever the device is removed from the authored device, even with accidental removing of the device. The encryption key is deleted by the feature after 10 failed attempts, which basically an add-on security feature. the device is a FIPS 197 certified, which means it can be used as a corporate IT device.
