Dyson debuted its first audio product, the Dyson Zone Air-Purifying Headphones, in India. Using miniature compressors and filters housed inside the earcups, the innovative over-the-ear Bluetooth headphones push cleansed air to the wearer’s mouth and nose. Active noise cancellation (ANC) is a function of the Dyson Zone headphones, and the MyDyson app allows users to manage the headphones from their smartphones. They boast up to 50 hours of playing duration with the ANC function activated and include 40mm drivers. In April of this year, Dyson began selling its Zone headphones in certain areas worldwide other than India.
Dyson Zone Air-Purifying Headphones Features and Specs
Because of their built-in active noise cancellation (ANC), ambient noise is reduced while using the Dyson Zone Air-Purifying Headphones. The eight ANC microphones in the audio gadget are said to do ambient noise monitoring 3,84,000 times per second. Two extra microphones are included for use with phone and transparency equipment. The Bluetooth-enabled, over-ear headphones are cordless. A pair of 40mm neodymium speaker drivers with a 16 Ohm impedance provide the juice for these headphones.
Isolation, Conversation, and Transparency are the three ANC settings available on the Dyson Zone Air-Purifying Headphones. The greatest quality of audio may be obtained by using the Isolation mode of ANC. When the visor is down, the headset switches to the Conversation mode, while the Transparency mode increases the volume of ambient sounds to give the user a better sense of their surroundings. The earpads and ergonomic shape of these wireless headphones make them ideal for listening for extended periods.
The newest gadget has audio capabilities, but it also provides clean air to the user’s nasal and oral cavities for easier breathing. The Dyson Zone headphones include dual air purifiers in each earcup driven by independent motors. There are four stages of air purification on the motors (low, medium, high, and auto) to accommodate varying degrees of physical effort. They have a detachable face visor, and Dyson says that its filtration technology can get rid of 99 percent of ultrafine particles and gases from the city.
When coupled with the MyDyson app on an iOS or Android smartphone, Dyson Zone headphones provide information about the local air quality and alert the user when it is time to replace the filter. The associated app also allows users to customize their listening experience and manage the device.
Dyson claims that its new noise-cancelling headphones can play for up to 50 hours. They have a purported four-hour run time while using the air purification and ANC features. The headphones include sensors that turn them on and off automatically, saving battery life when not in use.
