On Wednesday, Google officially introduced the Google Pixel Watch 2 to the world. It was introduced with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones from Google. The Mountain View, California, tech giant’s smartwatch is now available in India, too. It’s a big upgrade over the Pixel Watch model that came out before it in October 2022. This watch, like many others on the market, can detect your heart rate, oxygen saturation, skin temperature, and electrical sensor to measure skin conductance (cEDA) to provide feedback on how your body is responding to exercise.
The Pixel Watch 2 has 40 different sport modes, and it also provides health and fitness statistics such as a daily readiness score, a sleep score, the ability to track active zone minutes, and the ability to create a personalized sleep profile.
The Pixel Watch 2 has a 306mAh battery, which can keep the screen on for up to 24 hours. The first Pixel Watch included wireless charging; the new Pixel Watch 2 does away with this in favor of contact pins. The provided charging cable is a USB Type-C connector with four prongs.
The Pixel Watch 2 retains the original’s microphone and speaker, digital crown with haptic feedback, and side button. Both a Wi-Fi and an LTE version of the Pixel Watch 2 are on the market. Connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC are included in both models. It can withstand water pressure of up to 5 ATM. According to Google, the 31-gram watch case is built from “100% recycled aluminum.” The fluoroelastomer and the smooth coating on the bands are standard equipment.
Google Pixel Watch 2 Price and Availability
The Pixel Watch 2 LTE is available for Rs. 39,900 in India and comes in three different aluminum finishes: polished silver, matte black, and champagne gold. As of right now, just the LTE version of the watch is accessible on Flipkart, but on October 13 it will be sold in India through.
Customers of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro may also purchase the Pixel Watch 2 from Google and Flipkart for Rs. 19,999.
