Samsung brought tons of new features to their One UI 4 lately. The details and some highlights of the same were shown by the company in October itself and it was applauded by most of the consumers out there. The One UI 4 was made available for Galaxy S21 series from November 15th and they planned to release it for the previous Galaxy S Series, Note Series, Galaxy Z Series, Galaxy A Series, and tablets. There have been some updates in Galaxy Watch Series 2 as well.
The look and feel of the whole user interface seem to have gone through a major revamp. From colour combinations to “emoji combinations” there have been lots of features that seem to captivate the users’ attention. The customization in the One UI 4 now allows users to choose colours of their choice that can be synced throughout the smartphone. Menus, buttons, and backgrounds come with varying amounts of customization. The “extra dim” feature helps with a reduction in glare while using your smartphone at night.
Third-Party applications will also behave seamlessly with the graphic settings of your choice. For example – rounded corners will be available across all the widgets including 3rd party apps. (Spotify will look even better now!) You can now make your digital avatar as your display picture or your smartwatch face with the new One UI 4 update. Also, you will be able to enjoy high-quality video calls from Google Duo with your friends and family.
It’s not all about graphics or visual updates in this update. The security feature also comes bringing gifts to the users. Now you can choose exactly what you want to share with a particular application or what you want to keep private. There are visual alerts where you can see if an application is using your audio or camera. There have been some security updates regarding location as well where you can choose to share your location in either approximate or accurate position. All of this combined makes for a very secure experience.
And like Samsung says, “Your Galaxy, Your Way!”.
