Recently Xiaomi launches its 6.44-inch smartphone Mi Max in India with a priced of INR 14,999. Mi Max is set to redefine the 6-inch and above smartphone category in India,  like earlier 5.5″ devices are there. They are dramatically improving the experience of consuming content on the go. They are making a Handset to enhance the media & gaming experience on such a big screen, which is the next BIG from the company.
The 6.44-inch super giant sized screen and the 4850mAh battery on Mi Max, makes it perfect for consuming content on the go, especially when coupled with Sunlight Display to boost screen clarity by adjusting pixel contrast and brightness as we see on other xiaomi devices.
Mi Max comes with a large high-density 4850mAh battery, which is the largest battery which Xiaomi has ever shipped in any of there smartphone. Based on company’s testing, Mi Max can support up to 14 hours of 1080p YouTube streaming video (via Wi-Fi) in a single charge, Rest we haven’t tested it yet.
Mi Max comes up with metal body with a amazing dual chamfered edges and the device also adds up a bit curved in both the front and back. The front surface is covered by 2.5D glass made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Mi Max is as thin as many 4.7-inch phones with a thickness of just 7.5mm.  At 203g, it is the same weight as Xiaomi’s first 5.5-inch Redmi Note, which is a positive point over here.
Mi Max is being equipped with one of the fastest mobile processors in the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650/652 processor(which ever version you want to buy), which is powered by six or eight Cortex A72 and A53 CPU cores. Mi Max delivers a great multimedia and gaming experience powered by Adreno 510 GPU graphics.
Mi Max is having a 3.5mm audio jack + IR blaster and a secondary noise cancellation MIC at the top portion of the device.
Moving towards the right side of the device you can see the beautiful dual chamfered edges plus Volume rocker and power-lock key which are quite pressy and give proper tactile feel while using it.
Moving further to the down portion of Xiaomi Mi Max, Mi Max finally comes up with dual speaker grill at down portion not at the back panel which is again a positive point over here. Over here one speaker grill is having a proper speaker in it and another one is having the primary mic inside it. Between both the grills you can see the Micro USB Port which support fast charging till 2 AMP, which is mandatory for this huge battery to charge the device fast.
Coming to the Front i has 5MP camera which looks decent in initial views and beside it the LED notification, Earpiece and Different sensors. Below that you will get a Huge sized 6.44″ FHD display which is being covered up with 2.5D curved glass plus getting the extra protection of Gorilla Glass 3 on it. Coming further you will get Back Key which do not have back-light on it, which can be a drawback in some cases.
Mi Max at the back side is having the identical looking 16MP camera which looks great and can also capture slow-motion videos, time-laps and can even record the videos up-to 4K. Beside it you get a Dual Tone LED Flash and Moving a bit down there is a Finger print sensor, which may cause a bit problem to some buyer because as the device is too big, putting the finger on fingerprint single handed may cause some issue. I wont comment regarding it until i get a chance to test it more. Below that The Mi logo and that’s it.
At the left side of Mi Max you get a Hybrid SIM Tray which support Dual Nano Sims or 1 Sim + Micro SD card up-to 128 Gigs, which is again a positive point over here.
