Asus, the Taiwanese company is all set to launch its latest “Asus ROG Phone 2” smartphone with the model number ASUS_I001DB in China on July 23. Just before few days of its launch, the Asus ROG Phone 2 made its appearance in TENNA.
The TENNA listing includes all the key specifications of the smartphone with the model number ASUS_I001DB. The website also has some of the pictures of the smartphone and does not provide any information regarding the price. As per the specifications mentioned on the website, it is clear that there are many similarities between the original ROG Phone and ROG Phone 2. Asus has revealed that ROG Phone 2 will be the first phone to feature a processor with Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC.
The new chip offers to deliver 15% faster graphics performance than the existing Snapdragon 855 SoC. ROG Phone 2 features a display of 6.59-inch full HD+ OLED display and runs on Android 9 Pie. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.95GHz and is backed-up by a 5,900mAh of battery. It comes with a RAM of 8GB and internal storage of 12GB.
The smartphone also comes in 128GB, 512GB AND 1TB storage variants too. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup with 48MP as a primary sensor along with a couple of LED flash units. It also has a 24MP selfie camera and features various connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ad GPS. As per the pictures available on TENNA, the back of Asus ROG Phone 2 does not have a fingerprint sensor. So, chances are that the device may have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
