The Taiwanese tech giant, Asus has been in the news lately owing to the launch of the latest gaming laptops in its TUF series. The TUF FX505 is priced at Rs. 79,990 and the TUF FX705 starts at a price of Rs. 1,24,990. Both these gaming TUF series laptops will be available online as well as offline. Asus also launched a gaming PC TUF FX10CP which will only be available offline.
The Asus TUF FX505 comes with a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display and 6.5 mm Nano Edge bezels. The display has a 60 Hz refresh rate and is also able to reproduce 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The FX505 features either the 8th gen Intel Core i5-8300H or the i7-8750H processor coupled with a maximum of 32GB RAM. The graphics options include the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, 1050 Ti and GTX 1060 GPU up to 6 GB graphic memory. The device comes with RGB backlit keyboard backed by TUF Aura Core panel to control the backlighting. The laptop is available in three color options – Gold Steel, Red Matter, and Red Fusion.
The TUF FX705 comes with a larger 17.3 inch Full HD IPS display available with two choices- 60 HZ and 144 Hz panels. The processor remains the same as the FX505 and the similar up to 32 GB of RAM. It comes with a two time faster 1 TB FireCuda SSHD storage with the option of opting for an SSD storage between 128 to 512 GB 3rd Gen PCIe SSD storage. The graphics options are same as the FX505 up to a maximum of 6 GB of GDDR5 memory.
