Paytm Mall which is owned by Paytm E-commerce Pvt. Ltd has announced the launch of its connected PoS solution for retail stores, empowering shopkeepers to manage their offline and online customers. It has partnered with Asus India in implementing this PoS solution at ASUS retail stores. The first product from this partnership is ASUS Vivobook X507 which is a budget laptop priced at Rs. 21,990.
Talking about its specifications, the ASUS VivoBook X507 comes with a 15.6-inch ‘Nanoedge’ display with thin bezels. The Windows 10-based laptop is powered by an Intel Core i3 processor coupled with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The device is available with up to 1TB of built-in storage along with SSD slot, which allows expansion of up to 256GB. Vivobook X507 laptop is also one of the most light-weight laptops at just 1.68 kgs of weight.
In terms of connectivity, the VivoBook X507 offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For the security, the new ASUS laptop comes with a fingerprint sensor that allows quick login with Windows Hello as well. The laptop comes with fast charging support that can charge 60 percent of the battery in around 49 minutes. It also features SuperBattery technology that claims to make the battery last for up to three times longer than regular laptops.

Paytm Mall PoS solutions provide a unified solution that will let shopkeepers manage a cloud-based inventory to help check the availability of products, manage sales and orders, bills, payments, and much more. Paytm Mall will also be providing its connected PoS solution at the “Digital Experience Zones” in ASUS offline retail stores. Through the digital experience zones, users will be able to browse through different Asus products. All this will be available on digital screens at the retail stores.
The ASUS Vivobook X507 comes with a starting price of Rs 21,990 and the laptop is already available to purchase via Paytm Mall as well as the company’s offline retail stores. The company is also offering a Rs 2,000 cashback at Paytm Mall as part of the introductory offer.
