Taiwan’s Asus announced its partnership with Flipkart in India with the launch of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 in April. Only the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants went up for sale with the promise of upgraded 6GB variant coming soon. The company has now finally announced the availability of the 6GB RAM variant of the Zenfone Max Pro. The device will go for sale on 26th July available exclusively on Flipkart.
The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants are priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,999 respectively. Both these variants came with 32 GB and 64 GB of internal storage respectively. The new feature available on the new Zenfone Max Pro variant is obviously the 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage. Another upgrade that comes along is the dual rear camera setup, which now comes with the new 16 MP primary sensor and the same 5 MP secondary sensor. The front facing camera for selfies and video calling also gets an upgrade from 8 MP to a 16 MP sensor.
The device’s display is a 5.99 inch Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.8 GHz octa-core 636 SoC chipset paired with Adreno 509 GPU. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and will soon get Face Unlock feature via an update.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with all the basic essential features such as Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a dedicated microSD card slot.
