The NASSCOM Centre Of Excellence worked in partnership with Telematics wire and they together organized the 5th edition of the biggest show of the Connected Vehicles in India. The show was named as ‘Connected Vehicle 2020’ and it was organize at Bengaluru.

Connected vehicle 2020, is a three-day conference that will start from3rd of March and will last till the 5th of March, 2020. In the conference more than 80 exhibitors, 10 connected vehicles were on display and over 1200 delegates from various sectors attended the conference to hear and meet all 60 speakers during 10 different sessions.
The aim of the conference was to make imminent changes more tangible and explore the upcoming technology trends and disruptions that will affect the traditional vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, markets, and the automotive value chain.
As per the government policies, the mandatory adoption of AIS-140 devices that will be providing vehicle location tracking capabilities and one or more emergency buttons feature in public transport vehicles are designed to enhance safety and security. The ministry is also planning to make ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), an important feature in the upcoming vehicles by early 2022.

He said that the enhanced use of connectivity and artificial intelligence has brought in a radical transformation with an enhanced and improved user interface. He added that a new-age or modern vehicle would provide unprecedented entertainment and information capabilities with high personal comfort and customization, from the interiors to auto adjustment of seat and user preferences. As per him, the automotive community gears up for upcoming technology challenge the company needs to keep in mind the importance of transforming the associated eco-system to meet the challenges. And in order to meet the challenges, tech players and start-ups play significant important roles in the development of these vehicle technologies
Maneesh Prasad, CEO, Telematics Wire said that connectivity is the next technology frontier in the auto industry that explains the communication between vehicles and infrastructure. He added that the automotive ecosystem has been focused on innovation and technology which will be safer, convenient and environment-friendly
