The Hewlett- Packard (HP), an American multinational information technology company, has recently launched its Omen X 2S 15 dual screen gaming notebook in India. It will be available for online purchase from 1st of July onward.
The device is made by prioritizing the needs and requirements of the gamers. The device sports slim aesthetics and the major highlight of this laptop is the secondary 5.8-inch touch screen that will support gamers to avoid distractions and will guide them regarding the necessary control without pausing or quitting the game. This touch screen panel can also be used for multimedia browsing, monitoring system’s vitals, performance tweaking and messaging.
HP Omen X 2S 15 features dual display; a primary 15.6 inch LCD panels and a secondary, 5.9 inch 1080p multi-touch screen panel. The laptop is available in different configurations/ variants. You could opt either one of the below-mentioned configurations:
1. 144 Hz Full HD IPS display.
2. 240 Hz Full HD IPS display.
3. 60 Hz Ultra HD IPS display.
Moreover, HP Omen X 2S 15 is powered by Intel’s eight-core i9 – 9880H processor and is supported by either NVIDIA’s Max-Q GeForce RTX 2070 or RTX 2080 graphics chips. It offers 64 GB DDR4-3200 RAM combined with up to two – 1TB NVMe/PCIe SSDs. The audio quality is assisted by built-in Bang and Olufsen stereo speakers along with an amplifier, and a 3.5-mm headset jack.
Talking about the connectivity, HP Omen X 2S 15 supports Intel’s Wireless-AC 9560 802.11ac, Bluetooth, a Thunderbolt 3-capable USB-C port, three USB 3.1 Type-A ports, two display outputs, a Full-HD webcam and a GbE port. This laptop comes with various heat dissipation techniques for the CPU. The techniques used are; HP Omen Tempest cooling system with two 12V fans, multiple thick heat pipes, multiple air intake, air exhaust openings and Thermal Grizzly liquid metals.
HP Omen X 2S is priced at Rs 2,09,990 and goes up to Rs 3,14,000 depending upon the variants.
