LG G7+ ThinQ launched in India

LG launched one of their newest smartphones globally in May of this year that goes by the name of LG G7+ ThinQ, a successor for the last year’s G6+. LG has finally decided to bring the LG G7+ ThinQ to the Indian market. It will be sold exclusively via Flipkart along with Flipkart’s Big Freedom Sale. The device has been aggressively priced for the Indian markets compared to previous generation devices of the G series. It will be available to users from 10th August at a price of Rs. 39,990.

The smartphone indeed is a powerful and feature-packed device. It comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC chipset coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The smartphone features a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision display 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage expandable up to 2TB via microSD. The screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and also offers 1000 nit brightness. It also comes with Dual Rear Camera Setup with a 16MP f/1.6 with 71° field-of-view primary sensor and a 16MP f/1.9 with 107° field-of-view secondary sensor. The front camera is an 8MP sensor with f/1.9 and 80° field-of-view.

The G7+ ThinQ also has a dedicated button to open Google Assistant when pressed once and Google Lens when pressed twice. The device is IP68 rated and comes with powerful speakers with DTS: X and HI-Fi Quad DAC. The device packs a 3,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 and Qi wireless charging. The connectivity feature included are Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. This flagship device by LG is sure to give a tough competition to the other devices like the Asus Zenfone 5Z, OnePlus 6, Vivo Nex and approaching devices such as the Google Pixel 3 and Samsun Galaxy Note 9.
