OnePlus 3T, an updated version of their previous flagship OnePlus 3 is already launched globally and is soon ready to launch in India. As per OnePlus blog and forum, they are getting ready for OnePlus 3T to India shortly. As per their forum there is no specific date on which Oneplus 3 is to be announced. OnePlus has announced a ‘Truth or Dare’ contest on there official Facebook page, and at the end of the contest there are going to announce the launch date of Oneplus 3T in India.
Till then, fans can play a “Truth or Dare” where they can choose to either “ask the company anything” or challenge it to an “adventurous dare”. OnePlus has upgraded the processor in their new model with Snapdragon 821 and a bigger battery of 3400mAh and 16MP front camera.
OnePlus 3T features a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 401 ppi pixel density. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top for protection. The smartphone is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal memory options with UFS 2.0.
Rest in camera everything is just same like the previous model only the front camera is being increased from 8MP to 16MP which means now the front as well as the rear camera houses 16MP camera.
Battery in the OnePlus 3T is 3,400 mAh (non-removable), more than the 3000 mAh on the OnePlus 3. It also comes with Dash Charge support, which promises a day’s worth of battery life in just 30 minutes of charge. It has a USB 2.0 Type-C charging port, Dual-nano SIM slot and 3.5 mm headphone jack as well. OnePlus is promising Android 7.0 Nougat update for the 3T late this year.
OnePlus 3T starts at $439 in the US, which is around Rs 29,000. We’ll have to wait that what will be the pricing strategy for Oneplus for their Flagship.
