The Indian budget tech competitors are slowly increasing their product quality and their performance. Yeah, we are talking about the recent event that Panasonic held to unveil the Panasonic Lumix G7 and Lumix G85, the new digital single mirrorless (DSLM) cameras in India.

The device promises to deliver optical performance with the Panasonic Lumix series. The Lumix series – G7 and G85 are the best professional photography camera and a perfect travel partner. Both G7 and G85 supports 4K video recording along with 4K video cropping, dual image stabilization, focus stacking and post-focus.

The Lumix G7 is equipped with 16mp digital live MOS sensor that supports a maximum sensitivity of ISO 160-25600. The camera support 4K resolution with 3840*2160 pixel in mp4 format. It will give you all the GH4’s still capabilities in a lighter, much less expensive body. It has 3″ fully articulated screen that has 1040K dot resolution along with micro four-thirds mount.

The camera is powered by Venus engine that has quad-core CPU which will give you high-speed signal processing resulting in 8fps (AFS) / 6fps (AFC). It has built-in burst mode which can capture images at a speed of 30 fps and in 8 mp equivalent resolution. Other features include WiFi connectivity with smartphone, 3.5 mm mic socket, focus peaking, time-lapse shot and stop-motion animation.

The Lumix G85 features a rugged design which is dustproof and splashproof as it is composed of magnesium alloy. It is equipped with 16 mp four-thirds CMOS sensor that supports a maximum sensitivity of ISO 100-25600. It is powered by a Venus engine that supports 4K video in 2840 * 2160 pixels at 30p/25p, 30p or 24p in mp4. In addition, there’s a five-axis dual image stabilizer. The camera has 3 inches fully articulated screen and 1040k dot touch control screen with OLED live viewfinder with a 2360K dot resolution. It has a weather sealed body with a micro four-thirds mount.

The new Lumix G7 has been priced at Rs. 53,990. It is also available with 42mm and 42-150 mm lenses which are priced at Rs. 58,990 together whereas Lumix G85 has been priced at Rs. 72,990. The camera models will be available at all Panasonic stores across the country.
