The Galaxy Note series by the South Korean multinational conglomerate, Samsung have always been one of the most hyped flagship devices every year. A huge number of leaks and renders have been released recently indicating the launch of Galaxy Note 9 very soon this year. The distinguishing of the Note series has always been long-lasting battery and highly productive S Pen.
Recent leaks by Ice Universe indicate at the presence of a massive 4000mAh battery which will be the largest among all the mass-market Samsung phones. Ice Universe has a good track record with details and statistics regarding Samsung devices. This increase in battery capacity might be possible due to clever positioning of the camera module.
There has been news that Samsung is also working on new faster wireless chargers. The company launched its latest wireless charger (EP-N5100) along with the Galaxy S9 which had 9 volts and 1.67 amperes reading. A new charger (EP-N6100) was certified at the FCC with 12 volts and 2.1 amperes input rating. Samsung is currently still using the old fast wireless charging technology that was introduced with Galaxy S6 Edge and Note 5 back in 2015. It would be a welcome change if Samsung comes out with faster wireless charging if considering the Note 9’s 4000mAh battery rumours to be true.
Various leaks regarding the Galaxy Note 9 suggest at 8GB of RAM and huge 512 GB of internal storage along with expansion using microSD slot. The camera department might also get an upgrade especially the front-facing camera. It also seems like that there will not be any major upgrade on the design front with a big infinity display. Some rumours suggest that a new colour variants for the device, namely – Blue, Brown, Black, Lavender and Gray might come. Samsung is trying really hard to make Note 9 a major upgrade over the likes of Note 8, S9 and S9 Plus and this will definitely be a device to look out for, considering the leaks.
