There has been news that Samsung is also working on new faster wireless chargers. The company launched its latest wireless charger (EP-N5100) along with the Galaxy S9 which had 9 volts and 1.67 amperes reading. A new charger (EP-N6100) was certified at the FCC with 12 volts and 2.1 amperes input rating. Samsung is currently still using the old fast wireless charging technology that was introduced with Galaxy S6 Edge and Note 5 back in 2015.
