The next awaited smartphone in the Vivo V9 series has been launched on Friday. Vivo V9 Youth is the new member in the Vivo V9 family which was launched earlier this year. Along with India, the device has also been unveiled in Thailand and Philippines. The device is currently available across all the offline stores in the country whereas it will be sold online from April 24. The dives are priced at ₹18,990.

Design wise, Vivo V9 Youth looks the same copy of Vivo V9. It has got a 6.3-inch full view display with a notch similar to that of iPhone X. The display screen has got an aspect ratio of 16:3. There is a front selfie camera of 16MP that comes with an AI integration along with a dual camera setup at the rear end.
A new feature known as ‘Game Mode’ feature will be seen in this device. The features prevent you from any sort of distractions like messages, calls, or unnecessary notifications while you’re playing any game. It has also got a new Picture-in-Picture feature for games. Users need to slide down with their three fingers to split the screen into two halves. Vivo V9 Youth runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo.
The device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. 32GB ROM which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card is also provided. It runs on a 3260mAh battery. The device is much like Vivo V9 but it’s a cheaper version. Online Retailers include Vivo E-store, Flipkart, Amazon India and Paytm Mall from which you can buy Vivo V9 Youth from April 24.
