Vivo Y71 with ‘Face Access’, FullView Display launched in India at Rs 10,990

The young global smartphone brand Vivo on Friday launched Vivo Y71. This smartphone is the next phone in the Y series and has got impressive features and that too at decent rates. Y71 will be available in Gold and Matte Black colour across all retail stores in India. The device is tagged at ₹10,990 and will hit the market from April 14, 2018. Customers can also buy it online on the Vivo E-store, Flipkart, Amazon and PaytmMall from April 16, 2018. Now let us see what features this device has in for you.

Kenny Zheng, CMO, Vivo India said, “Vivo has always crafted its products keeping consumers preference at the core.With the launch of Y71, we are releasing a smartphone which is large on display and performance, and is coupled with enhanced camera capabilities.”

The device is just carved for your hand; Vivo Y71 has 18:9 FullView™ display along with super narrow bezels which offers an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 84.4%. If compared to standard 16:9 aspect ratio phones, Y71 delivers 12.5% more content and that too in a quite handy design. It has been made with the new high polymer nano-blasting technique which provides a better grip to the users.

Vivo has been famous for the camera specifications it has been providing to its users. Y71 camera specifications are quite good as it comes up with a 13MP HD camera on the rear end whereas in the front you’ll get a 5MP camera. PDAF feature in the rear and AI Face Beauty feature in the front will help you to take pictures of amazing quality in any lighting conditions.

Coming to hardware specifications, Y71 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with a 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The device is backed by 3360mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 OS which makes it quite efficient. It has got a Smart Split feature which lets the user work on multiple tasks simultaneously. One major advantage of this device is that it comes with a Face Access features. Using which the device intelligently scans the facial features and unlocks itself. The facial recognition technology at such a price is what makes it a bit competitive.
