Acer, already a market leader in gaming PCs, has added two new models to its Predator Helios series of gaming laptops. The NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 4050 and 4060 series GPUs power the Predator Helios Neo’s gaming capabilities.
These CPUs are built on the state-of-the-art NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture and provide unprecedented performance in addition to stunning AI-driven visuals, making them ideal for gamers and content makers. Faster load times and a more fluid gaming experience are possible even in the most resource-intensive games thanks to the hybrid architecture and up to 32GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM.
The WQXGA resolution of 2560 x 1600 and 1920 x 1200, as well as the high-brightness levels of 500 and 400 nits, found on the 16.0″ display of the Predator Helios Neo series, provide an immersive visual experience.
The WQXGA display is a graphical powerhouse, thanks to features like NVIDIA® G-SYNC® and 100% Advanced Optimus technology. In addition, the 165 Hz refresh rate delivers smooth and fluid images that improve the gaming experience, and the Acer ComfyViewTM LED-backlit TFT LCD technology enables good viewing even in well-lit surroundings.
Both models have a cutting-edge cooling system with 5th Generation AeroBlade 3D fans, heat pipes, and liquid metal thermal grease to keep the hardware running smoothly, even during long gaming sessions. The updated PredatorSense 4.0 utility software and the reworked RGB-illuminated keyboard make it simple for users to choose between various modes of operation.
The Intel® KillerTM E2600 enables high-performance Ethernet connection, and the Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 enables fast and dependable wireless networking, both of which are included in the laptops for unrestricted speeds. Users also have access to two USB Type-CTM ports that support ThunderboltTM 4, allowing them to utilise these connections for DisplayPort, G-SYNC, and PD charging.
