Taiwanese tech giant, Asus has finally launched their premium Asus ZenBook range of laptops in India after showcasing them at the Compute 2018. The three variants launched include the Asus ZenBook Pro at a starting price of Rs. 1,79,990, the Asus ZenBook S at a price of Rs. 1,29,990 and the Asus ZenBook 13 at a starting price of Rs. 66,990. All these models will be available to the consumers from August 13 via retail stores, e-commerce portals and channel partners.

The ZenBook 13 is the most affordable in the range which is a powerful device in itself and doesn’t lack in performance. It comes in two variants with Intel Core i7 with 512 GB of PCIe SSD storage. The ZenBook comes with 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM paired with Intel UHD 620 GPU. The laptop comes with a backlit keyboard, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, HDMI connectivity options. It is supposed to last for 14 hours on a single charge and features a 13.3-inch FHD NanoEdge display with Harman Kardon audio integration.
The ZenBook S comes with a 13.3 inch 4K UHD NanoEdge touchscreen display. It comes with Intel Core i7-8550U processor paired with 16GB of RAM and 512 GB of PCIe x4 SSD storage. It supports Thunderbolt 3 connectivity supported by USB Type-C interface and comes with MIL-STD-810G military grade build and is expected to last up to 13.5 hours on a single charge. It comes in two colour options – Deep Dive Blue and Burgundy Red with diamond cut details and spun-metal finish.
The ZenBook Pro 15 comes with a 15.6 inch 4K UHD NanoEdge Pantone validated display and powered by the Intel Core i9 processor. It is paired with 16GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050i GPU and 1TB of PCIe x4 SSD. It comes with Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 3 ports, and gigabit-class Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The unique feature of this device is its ScreenPad which acts as a touchpad and a high-resolution full-colour screen with adaptive features and context-sensitive tool. It has an all-aluminium body that comes in two colour options- Deep Dive Blue and Rose Gold.
Asus has made its intention clear in the Indian market to provide products in a wide variety. All the laptops launched feature a fingerprint sensor and come with Harman Kardon certified audio systems. These products have a way for Asus in the Indian market in the premium laptop range.
