Asus has clearly shown its intention of expanding in the Indian market with the aggressive pricing of recently launched Asus Zenfone Max Pro. The Taiwanese tech giant unveiled their flagship smartphone, the Asus Zenfone 5Z in February at the MWC 2018. The device is all set to launch in India on 4th July 2018 at 12:30 PM. There has been no official confirmation of the cost of the device but an online listing hints at three variants of the smartphone with different memory options.
According to the listing, a lower variant of the Asus Zenfone 5z Price in India with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage is expected to be priced at Rs. 29,999 and the 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage are priced at Rs. 32,999. The highest variant with 8GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage is expected to cost Rs. 36,999.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z will compete with the established flagship killers like OnePlus 6 and Huawei P20 Pro. The Zenfone 5Z comes with a 6.2 inch Full HD+ LCD screen that comes with 90% screen-to-body ratio with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels that offers 100% DCI-P3 coverage. This is a dual-SIM device that is run by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC chipset coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The smartphone is feature rich and comes with ZenUI 5.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

The stunning feature of the Zenfone 5Z is the Dual Rear Camera setup with Sony IMX363 sensor that provides both OIS and EIS. Asus refers to them as the AI Cameras to capture amazing photos ‘at any hour of the day or night’. The device is packed with 3300mAh battery that comes with Asus’s special fast-charging AI technology. Asus focuses on the term AI for this device and maybe for a good reason to provide features such as ZeniMoji, AI Call Experience and more. The device also offers Face Unlock feature and many pre-loaded features. The Zenfone 5Z weighs 155 grams and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
