Coming to the design part, here with Asus Vivobook Max X541UA it comes with very basic design which we can expect from any budget oriented Laptop. Still the Quality which they have used it nice. The body part of the X541UA is mostly plastic and hardly any metal is being used under it. The top side of the lid has a textured pattern feel on it which doesn’t attract fingerprints and also add premiums to the laptop.

We also get a VGA port which is sometime necessary in college while giving presentation and to support future is also has a HDMI port which is also necessary for students. On same side we also get 3.5mm Audio jack. Sometime premium flagship laptops don’t even have a Ethernet port but this one has it.

The Vivobook Max X541UA gets a 15.6-inch FHD display, with resolution of 1920 x 1080px. They have given a IPS panel. These days other manufacturers are providing the resolution of 1366×768 in the price where Asus is providing Full HD panel which offers great colors and viewing angles. For normal video editing and very minimal gaming that too at low setting, display won’t make you feel down in any scenario. This is not a touchscreen like what we get in other premium models.

The display is quite reflective and using in sunlight might affect you. If you travel a lot then i would suggest you to use some matte screen guard which will give extra protection to the screen as well as it won’t get reflective while using in outdoor.

One thing which i want to add over is that the display only supports 45 percent of the NTSC colors gamut so it is only good for basic video and photo editing it is not best for color grading work or for professional print work.

Sound

The Asus Vivobook X541UA comes with a stereo 3W speakers and a Bang & Olufsen ICEpower audio enhancement. The AudioWizard app lets tweak between equalizer which is preset. Audio quality is actually pretty good, especially for movies and games. Vocals are distinct and loud. The speakers are placed above keyboard which means you are going to hear the audio in best way.

Performance

Coming to the main part which is performance, here Asus Vivobook Max X541UA comes with Core i7-7100U CPU which is supported with 4GB of DDR4 memory, and a 1TB Mechanical Hard Drive. You also get Bluetooth 4.1, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and a VGA webcam. We get Intel HD integrated 620 graphic card for normal graphic usage which include, 720p gaming, Photo editing, Watching 4k movies and Web Browsing. According to my usage, while working on word or using web browser for typing articles and surfing it was leading me about 4 to 5 hours which depends on work to work, Rest if you are doing Photoshop, Premier pro and other high intensity work it will hardly lead you to about 2.5 hours battery backup. In this price it seems to be ok to me because you can always upgrade the battery from external market according to your usage and work. Don’t expect to get a full day battery life with this model.

Personally when we consider the price of the laptop i just loved it, because i think this is the only laptop which is available in the market which this price and that too with Full HD panel in it. Now getting back to left side here we get a triple tray slot which support Dual Nano Sim’s and at the same time it support a dedicated Micro SD card that to up to 2TB as per the brand.

Turning to the right side side we get power lock key and volume rockers which works quite well with no hazel on regular use. One thing which i want to mention over is that the power lock key which we get in Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual is also having a coating of Pattern feel on it which actually adds up more premium feel to the device.

Finally coming to the back side of the phone here we get two Antenna line, Primary 16-megapixel camera beside it a Single Tone LED flash and below that houses Asus Branding. There is nothing much which we need to explain further in Built Quality.

Display of Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual comes with a 5.5-inch HD Display with a resolution of 720 x 1280. The display gives you the ratio of 16:9, which means no extra side black bars while watching movies or videos. With this price and feature still we can manage with a HD display as the Display colors are sharp tone and watching movies, and playing games look great. While watching a movie on to the phone give immense experience. The Sunlight legibility is also good because of its really great brightness. When we compare the brightness with some other phones this one works really well in sunlight legibility.

Viewing Angle is good, and blacks are decent enough. While watching movies from odd angle won’t affect you in any way. Overall no complaints with the display rather I loved it as the device more towards selfie in budget.

Performance

The phone comes with a latest Snapdragon processor which is Snapdragon 430 processor which features a 4 GB Ram. This combo makes it a selfie-centric device with good performance power. Out of 64 GB of internal storage, you get about 53 GB free after that you can also expand it to up to 2TB as the phone support dedicated tray for Micro SD Card.

We get Antutu Score of 43437 and certain other scores are also good. With this screen size and great selfie, they have also given all the sensors which are required by any normal person.

They have not removed any sensors. We can use this smartphone with a VR headset also. Even while using GPS it will give you proper accuracy as it also has magnetic and orientation sensor.

Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games. In my use, i have not seen any lag or frame drops even in Asphalt 8 high setting. Every game even in the high-end setting is working well. I have tried playing most of the games like Asphalt 8, Shadow Fight 3, Batman, Bully and Adreno 505 GPU with the support of Snapdragon 430 processor work well. I have also not seen any heating issue while long gaming in DELHI, INDIA Temperature.

Coming to the gaming part, we can play almost all games. In my use, i have not seen any lag or frame drops even in Asphalt 8 high setting. Every game even in the high-end setting is working well. I have tried playing most of the games like Asphalt 8, Shadow Fight 3, Batman, Bully and Mali-G71 GPU with the support of MT6763T processor work well. I have also not seen any heating issue while long gaming in DELHI, INDIA Temperature.

You can use different filters while taking a selfie shots. The clarity and colors which came out using this device are great. This time they are not offering a front flash instead of that they have added a screen flash same like there previous device which is better than the front flash most of the time.

Rest you can also change different themes by downloading it from there theme application. Rest there is nothing much which I think must be explained over there.

The UI seems to be very smooth and lag free. Rest there are many new small features like eye protection, power saving mode, which will help you in day to day usage. There is one more application named as Face recognition unlock which works quite well. This application uses front camera to scan your face but it won’t work like with all the sensors like what we get in iPhone X. Overall, you can fool it sometimes but still most of the time it works. Still, i always use the fingerprint sensor to unlock the device.

Coming to battery part of the phone which is its 3200 mAh Battery which works really well. It took me 2.5 Hours to charge from 0 to 100% using its default charger. Battery usage of the device is good. It will easily go to last you more than a day because of good software optimization.
