The photographic giant has added a new device in its portfolio today, the Canon EOS RP, the device is its second full-frame mirrorless camera after EOS R. It’s expected to go on sale in March for Rs. 1,10,495 for the body and another Rs. 1,99,490 for the RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens.
Canon EOS RP comes with full frame mirrorless camera sensor, dual pixel CMOS AF and a vari-angle touch panel. Vari-angle touch panel which enables us to take photographs from different angles. It has a 26.2-megapixel CMOS full frame sensor which gives you highly detailed images even in the low light conditions. It comes with a DIGIC 8 processor, which gives you fast performance. It has the panning function, which is capable of adjusting the background blur accordingly. It also has superior video capabilities. We can record videos in 4k at 24 fps, 1080p at 60 fps. We can add different effects while recording videos. It can also make time-lapse movies with the help of 4K Time-lapse movie function.
Canon developed technology that provides easy access to the camera. The battery hours can be extended with the help of an optional battery grip. It comes with seamless connectivity options like Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and with the help of canon camera connect app users can control the settings more efficiently. It has a GPS receiver which enables us to keep a record of the places we went to.
Apart from that, the device also features Canon’s Visual Guide mode, which gives a graphical representation of various shooting modes (Aperture, Shutter etc.) that may affect your final photographs. It also has an ISO range of 100-25, 600, a 2.36 million dot electronic viewfinder (EVF). The brand has also said that it’s currently developing six new lenses for its RF full-frame mount, which will be available in later 2019. The lens is, RF 85mm F1.2 L USM, RF 85mm F1.2 USM DS, RF 24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM, RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM, RF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM, RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM.
