FUJIFILM India launches INSTAX mini 12 (mini 12), a new entry-level instant camera that prints photos on the spot. From April 20, retailers and internet partners will sell it. The mini 12 is an updated version of the INSTAX mini 11, a popular instant camera for close-ups and selfies. Its capabilities make it simpler than ever to record different scenarios.
The mini 12’s balloon-like shape conveys the pleasure of INSTAX’s instant picture printing. Five pastel colours fit different styles.
The mini 12’s “Automatic Exposure” function, which was popular on the mini 11 introduced in May 2020, automatically sets the scene’s exposure. “Close-up mode” is great for selfies and close-ups. This is the first entry-level INSTAX with a function that avoids differences between the viewfinder field and the actual printing area in close-ups, enabling everyone to enjoy shooting close-ups as intended. The “Selfie Mirror” opposite the lens may be used to examine print composition while taking a selfie.
“My vision for FUJIFILM India’s business has been around nurturing the “Culture of Photography,” said Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director. As a pioneer in photographic technology, introducing the Mini 12 to India delights me. Instax as a product category is already preserving photographic culture, particularly among our young generation, who have bought Micro 11 in great numbers throughout India. The mini 12’s technology will improve instax utilisation. Fujifilm will always innovate for the future.”
Mr Arun Babu, Head of Digital Camera, Instax & Optical Devices Business, FUJIFILM India, said, “With the launch of mini 12, we have upgraded the product with features like Automatic Flash control which automatically adjusts to the amount of light from the flash for a selfie (Close-up mode) and reduces blown out highlights making the images look more natural. This small instant film camera takes and prints credit-card-sized photographs in seconds and has innovative features, including parallax correction and an easy-to-use lens design. Mini 12 solo and 10, 20, and 40-shot combinations will be released.
The product will be available from 20 April on www.Instax.in and various online retailers like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, FirstCry, and our huge retail store footprint across the country with over 700 stores and their official website.
The INSTAX line of instant cameras debuted in 1998 and, lovingly known as “Cheki” in Japan for many years, may print a treasured moment on the spot and operate as a new communication tool or self-expression tool for expressing inner feelings. Fujifilm will expand the INSTAX instant photo technology, which prints photographs instantly.
