Huawei’s new phone Honor Play is the kind of device that would stasify people need in a smartphone, the device at Rs. 20,000 price segment. It is the first phone in its series to come with GPU Turbo for superior gaming performance. It’s now available on a special offer for customer.
Honor Play is equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS notch style display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and 89% screen to body ratio. It has an all-metal unibody design and features 4D gaming with intelligent game vibrations. On the Optic front, Honor Play sports a dual camera set up on the rear – a 16MP primary sensor with f2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an f2.4 aperture that can support 4k video recording. It comes with an AI intelligent photography mode that can detect 22 object categories in 500+ scenarios. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with f2.0 aperture and 3D portrait lighting. It comes with Honor’s four in one light fusion technology for improved low light photos.
On the performance basis, the phone is powered by the company’s top of the line Kirin 970 octa-core processor. In India, it will be available in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage. The phone also comes with an expandable storage up to 256GB via a microSD card but it doesn’t have a dedicated slot as it comes with a Hybrid dual SIM slot.
Honor Play runs the Android 8.1 operating system and packs a 3,750mAh battery with support for fast charging. The phone comes with 4G, VoLTE, dual-band WiFi ac and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity options. Other features include a rear fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with out of box features like AI camera, AI gallery, 3D game audio, Game suite, Face unlock and GPU Turbo.
