Reliance Jio offers cost-free registration and can be done in two ways, through MyJio app or Jio.com. In July the company embarked its journey of the broadband market by launching its most anticipated service, Jio GigaFiber broadband service. The service aims to deliver wall-to-wall FTTH service for all phone, television and other devices.

The optical broadband service aims to facilitate 50 million homes in India and will roll out in 1100 cities. The service confirms a firm competition between other broadband service providers like Airtel, BSNL, ACT Fibernet and many more.

The registrations are free of cost and can be done through MyJioapp or Jio.com. The beta trials are going in Mumbai and Pune. The company at its launch event proclaimed that the area with the highest no. of registrations will be given most priority and will be the first to receive the service.

The set top box service is for your television and the router is for running internet on multiple devices at 1 Gbps speed.

What is Jio GigaFiber preview offer?

The preview offer is for those who have registered for the Jio GigaFiber services and it will offer 100 GB monthly data at an internet speed of up to 100 Mbps for 90 days.

What are the Expected Jio GigaFiber plans?

The actual pricing of the plans is not announced by the company yet, but it can be expected to start from as low as ₹500. The Plan is said to come in three categories- Jio GigaFiber Speed based plans, Jio GigaFiber volume-based plans, Jio GigaFiber special broadband plans.

When will the service roll out?

No official announcement is made yet regarding this, but the reports say it could probably come in the next year by March.
