Kult is an Indian smartphone brand that entered the smartphone industry in 2015 with the Kult 10. The company silently launched its first smartphone of 2018 with the name Kult Impulse in the budget range. The Kult Impulse will be available in India from May 15 at a price of Rs. 8,999. The company is also offering Rs. 2,200 cashback for selected plans for both new and existing Jio customers. The smartphone will be available in two colours – Black and Blue.

Kult Impulse offers a near bezel-less 5.99 inches HD+ IPS display (1440 x 720 pixels) with TruView Technology having an 18:9 aspect ratio. It features 2.5 D curved glass and a metallic body with an ergonomic design for good comfort and grip. The phone is powered by the MediaTek MTK6739 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with ARM Mali-T720 MP1 650MHz GPU. The device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The phone has 2 SIM (Micro + Nano) slots and another dedicated slot for microSD card.
The device comes with 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with Auto-Focus and Dual LED Flash. The front of the device features a notification LED and the 13MP f/2.0 front camera for selfies and face unlock technology. For connectivity, the handset supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, Micro-USB, OTG support GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Included sensors are an accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, gyroscope and the fingerprint sensor on the rear which can be used to click selfies, take calls and more.

Kult Impulse runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and packs a massive 4000mAh battery for long battery life. The smartphone measures 164.8 x 76.74 x 8.65 mm. With its affordable pricing, Kult Impulse competes with brands like Xiaomi reigning the budget smartphone market.
