Expanding its Q series, South Korean company LG Electronics has launched a new smartphone LG Q7 on Tuesday. LG Q7 is the successor of the last year launched Q6 and Q6+. This mid-range budgeted smartphone is priced at Rs. 15,990 and comes in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue colours. It will be available across all leading retail stores in India from 1 September 2018.

LG Q7 comes with several features like IP68 Water and Dust resistance, MIL-STD 810G certified for Durable Build. LG Q7 features a 5.5-inch Full HD+ Display with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 442 PPI. The smartphone comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen panel.
The device runs an Android Oreo and is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core processor. It is equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The storage can also be expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It has an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based camera feature ‘Q-lens’ that allows users to do the image search of objects in their surroundings. The camera comes with other features like Portrait mode and Autofocus.
LG Q7 packs a 3000 mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm’s Fast Charge technology which claims that the battery can be charged to 60 per cent in about 60 minutes. Connectivity options includes – 4G LTE / Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n / Bluetooth 4.2 BLE / NFC / USB Type-C. The phone also comes with DTS:X powered speakers, which are touted to deliver virtual 3D surround sound and up to 2.1 channel audio through headphones. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear end. The phone’s size is 143.8 x 69.3 x 8.4mm and it weighs 145grams.
