On Tuesday, Apple revealed the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max during its ‘Wonderlust’ event, which was broadcast live from Apple Park in California. These smartphones are driven by the state-of-the-art A17 Pro chipset developed by the manufacturer. In addition, they include an Action button that can be programmed, much like the one on the Apple Watch Ultra. Unlike its predecessors, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max include a USB Type-C charging connector. The premium version has a periscope camera system for superior zoom capabilities.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max Features and Specs

Both the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max have Super Retina XDR OLED screens with up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness and Apple’s Ceramic Shield protection glass. Both phones are protected from dust and moisture with an IP68 certification. They run on Apple’s latest 3nm chipset, the A17 Pro, which boasts a 10% performance boost and up to three times the efficiency of rival CPUs.

The handsets’ Grade 5 titanium exterior and aluminum chassis make them both sturdy and lightweight. In addition, they have a new Action button that can be programmed to do a variety of functions in lieu of the traditional Mute switch.

The wide-angle camera on the phones has 48 megapixels, has an aperture of f/1.78, and is coated to minimize lens reflections. In addition to a 12-megapixel, f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter. The iPhone 15 Pro includes a 12-megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 12-megapixel periscope camera system with f/2.8 aperture.

Selfies and video calls are a breeze with the 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera and f/1.9 aperture found on the Pro variants of the iPhone 15 series.

The new iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, like the standard iPhone 15, include a USB Type-C connector with USB 3.0 capabilities. With the right connection, it can carry data at rates of up to 10 Gbps. Apple claims that the iPhone 15 Pro’s battery will last for up to a day of usage, and that the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s battery will last even longer than that. The Qi2 standard, which the manufacturer claims provides quicker wireless charging rates, is also supported by the devices.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max Price and Availability

The entry-level 128GB model of the new iPhone 15 Pro costs Rs. 1,34,900, while the top-of-the-line 256GB model costs Rs. 1,59,900. The devices will also be offered with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage.

The phones will be available for pre-order on September 15 and for purchase on September 22. Black Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium are among the colors and finishes that Apple claims will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
