The iQoo Z8 will allegedly be released in China next month, marking the company’s expansion of its Z line of smartphones. Detailed specs, including the phone’s CPU, RAM, display, and camera capabilities, were just leaked on Weibo, ahead of official disclosures. The rumored iQoo Z8 will reportedly ship with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The iQoo Z7, which was released earlier this year in India, will likely be replaced by this new model.
Weibo tweet by tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that next month might see the release of the iQoo Z8, the company’s rumored successor to the iQoo Z7. MediaTek Dimensity 8200 is said to be the brains behind the rumored iQoo Z8 smartphone, which is also said to include up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. According to the source, the phone would also include a 6.64-inch flat LCD screen with full-HD+ quality and a fast refresh rate. A hole punched at the front, ideally in the middle, may accommodate the camera.
A 64-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) capability and a 2-megapixel macro camera are said to be included in the phone’s dual back camera setup. The future iQoo Z8 is said to include a 16-megapixel sensor for taking photos and recording video. The smartphone is also expected to use the Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0 operating system. A 5,000 mAh battery provided the juice, and rapid 120W charging was supported.
In addition, the iQoo Z8 may first launch in Black and Blue, according to a recent report. The pricing of the smartphone may be comparable to the iQoo Z7 in China, which is CNY 1,599 (about Rs. 18,400).
This new smartphone is expected to replace the iQoo Z7, which was released in India in January. The device may be had with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. It has a 6.38-inch AMOLED screen with full HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) resolution.
