The Moto G14, the newest member of the reasonably priced G-series of smartphones, was introduced on Tuesday in India. It has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ screen and dual speakers calibrated for Dolby Atmos. Both a main camera (50 megapixels) and a secondary camera (2 megapixels) are included in the device. It has a 20W TurboPower charging capability and a 5,000mAh battery. The Moto G14 is currently operating on Android 13, but the company has pledged to upgrade it to Android 14 and give three years of security patches.
Moto G14 Features and Specs
The Moto G14 is a dual-SIM (Nano) Android smartphone that has been optimized by the company’s My UX software. The 6.5-inch LCD screen on the phone has a resolution of full HD+ (1,080 by 2,400 pixels) and a pixel density of 405ppi. The system-on-chip (SoC) is an octa-core Unisoc T616 equipped with Arm Mali-G57 MP1 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The main camera on the smartphone is 50 megapixels, and it uses Quad Pixel technology, PDAF, and an f/1.8 aperture to provide excellent results. The Moto G14 has a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, perfect for video calls and selfies.
It comes with 128GB of UFS2.2 storage space and a MicroSD card slot for expansion (up to 1TB). 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a USB Type-C connector are all included for connectivity.
The phone features a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 20W TurboPower charging; Motorola also claims to include a suitable charger in the package. The Moto G14 features a splash-proof IP52 certification. It weighs 177g and has dimensions of 161.46 x 73.82 x 7.99 mm.
Moto G14 Price and Availability
The starting pricing for the only Moto G14 model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is Rs. 9,999 in India. The phone comes in Steel Gray and Sky Blue, and the firm has announced that it will soon roll out Butter Cream and Pale Lilac color variants with a vegan leather finish in India.
On August 8 at 12pm (noon), the phone will be available for the first time in India through Flipkart, the Motorola India website, and retail outlets. Flipkart is offering a discount of Rs. 750 on all Moto G14 purchases made with an ICICI Bank credit or debit card.
