Oppo A38 Launched With MediaTek Helio G70 SoC

After a low-key debut in the UAE earlier this week, Oppo A38 was released in India on Friday. The smartphone has a 33W wired SuperVOOC rapid charging capability and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio processor. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh. It has a twin camera setup on the back, while its front shooter sits in a waterdrop notch in the center of the screen. The phone is available in the nation with either 16GB or 32GB of storage, and in two different colors. Pre-orders may be placed now.

Oppo A38 Features and Specs

The Oppo A38 has a 6.56-inch HD+ (1612×720-pixel) LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 720 nits of brightness. The ColorOS 13.1 operating system runs on Android 13. Octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 system-on-chip (SoC) fuels the device with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

The Oppo A38’s main sensor is 50 megapixels and is supported by artificial intelligence, while the secondary sensor is 2 megapixels. A 5-megapixel sensor is included inside the front-facing camera.

Oppo’s A38 has a 33W wired SuperVOOC rapid charger and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone has a fingerprint reader on the side and can identify its user by looking at their face. It has 5 GHz Wi-Fi, 5.3 GHz Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm connector for headphones, and a USB-C port. It has dimensions of 163.74 x 75.03 x 8.16 mm and a weight of 190 grams.

Oppo A38 Price and Availability

The only color choices for the Oppo A38 in India are “Glowing Black” and “Glowing Gold,” and the pricing for the 4GB + 128GB model is Rs. 12,999. Preorders for the phone may be placed on Oppo’s website and Flipkart, and sales will begin on September 13.
