On Monday, India saw the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy F34 5G. The smartphone’s expected pricing range was already hinted at by the manufacturer. It had been speculated that the phone would be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A34 5G, a device that debuted in March of this year and had an octa-core SoC and a 5,000mAh battery. But now that the Galaxy F34 5G has been out, we can see that despite their shared aesthetic inspiration, the two models’ feature sets are rather distinct. The Galaxy F34 5G, for instance, has just been released and has a 6,000mAh battery and an in-house Exynos processor.
Samsung Galaxy F34 5G Features and Specs
The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G has a 6.46-inch, full-HD+ (2340 x 1080) sAMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 398 ppi pixel density, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It uses Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 1280 system-on-chip (SoC), which is supported by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. One UI 5.1, based on Android 13, is preinstalled.
Vertically placed in three circular slots on the top left of the rear panel with an LED flash, the Galaxy F34 5G’s cameras consist of a main 50-megapixel sensor, a secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The waterdrop notch at the top of the screen houses a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Galaxy F34 has a huge battery capacity of 6,000mAh. A fingerprint reader is conveniently located on the device’s side for further safety. It has connection options for 5G networks as well as GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3, and USB Type-C. The dimensions of the handset are 161.7 mm x 77.2 mm x 8.8 mm, and it has a weight of 208 grams.
Samsung Galaxy F34 5G Price and Availability
In India, the Samsung Galaxy F34 5G comes in two storage configurations: 6GB + 128GB for Rs. 18,999 and 8GB + 128GB for Rs. 20,999. Flipkart, the Samsung website, and certain retail outlets are all taking pre-orders for the phone right now. On August 11th, it will be available for purchase.
